About the municipality

    Dear citizens, welcome to the official website Central Municipality Zdar. Do not be fooled by the name of one village, the community brings together more than five settlements: banks, Doubrava, Příhrazy, Jumpstart and Žehrov. On our pages you will find all necessary information of citizens and tourists, we are here not only happening in those settlements, but also attractions and events throughout the community.     If you visit our community for the inspection of these sites, find us on the edge of the Bohemian Paradise and welcome you a beautiful region that is suitable for hiking, biking, mountain climbing and relaxation. Our region is carried out many tourist routes. You can visit PŘÍHRAZSKÉ rocks, where the accommodation in the campsite Automotoklub Doubrava. Sandstone rock formations Příhrazských attract rock climbers with dominatní, ”Kobylí head“ and many others sandstone towers. It is also the possibility to visit Drábské světničky and continue into the city with a tour Mnichovo Hradiště beautiful castle, which was built Václav Budovec in 1606.

    The opposite direction from Žďár you off across the city until Všeň Czech garnets Turnova, where the Museum of Czech Paradise with unique collection of precious stones and jewelry. Next trip is to walk the project through to the round of Jumpstart, Olesnica to Věžickému pond and Vidlák. This route leads through the valley Žehrovka, which are several mills, the most famous Pleskotský Mill. Branch of this route is the possibility to tour Hruboskalsko to rock the city ”Skalák, Castle Rock and Gross Valdštejn.

     From Žďár can also look through the woods to žehrovské Kost, Castle Humprecht up to the town Sobotka. In Žehrovských forests can turn into the village of Zakopane and the Branžež, where it is nice in the summer months swimming in the pond Komárovské and hackle to find the beautiful and clean lake for swimming. Our municipality passes the most beautiful tourist path: ”Golden Path of Bohemian Paradise.“ Our journey begins in Munich Hradiste, then continues to the ruin of the castle Valečov a special layout deliver many visitors. After approximately 5 km to the trail to get skalnímu service Drábské světničky where in the past, stood the castle. Drábské světničky offer today, very nice view, which is our reward for combat rather quite demanding leg of the journey. Furthermore, we establish a path through the castle Old Castles in the town Příhrazy. From here, continues through the village and place reminiscent of Serbia in 1866 to fight for majestátnímu Kost, in the close vicinity you can visit the valley Plakánek. After visiting the castle we can continue through Libošovice and Nebákov to the ruins of Trosky Castle, the symbol of the Bohemian Paradise.  

    Golden Path Bohemian Paradise visitor accompanied by the most interesting places of the Bohemian Paradise. It is the total length of almost a hundred miles - 98 km. Leads from Munich Hradiště through Trosky, Turnov, Malá Skála, Kozákov a camp in the town of Jicin.
